Childrens Books By Amanda Nelson and Kimberly Tipton
We help parents, teachers, and therapists support children’s social and emotional development through relatable stories
Join Forest Fran, a young girl from Plant Planet, on her journey to school on City Planet. Fran experiences signs of anxiety and learns coping skills from those around her. Through these lessons the children learn to enjoy sharing their differences with each other.
The Remote Monster has big plans to steal all the remotes across the country and cause chaos. However, along the way he learns that stealing remotes from others will lead to big consequences, such as apologizing, returning items, and time alone to reflect on his actions.
Our stories are specifically written to support children’s social and emotional development. Our stories are carefully designed to be relatable to many children who may need help navigating and learning about different emotions and social situations, and we value diversity in our characters. The back of each book includes lesson-related activity sheets and helpful tips on supporting the kids in your life who may be struggling with the story’s topic.
From engaging classroom readings to immersive book experiences, and hands-on sensory craft workshops, we offer fun and meaningful ways to support children’s social and emotional growth.
