Our books were created with the intent to help teachers, therapists, and parents support the social and emotional development of young kids in their lives. Each book includes an activity sheet and tips for parents and others to help guide children through related coping skills and social lessons.

Topic: Anxiety

In a world where kids come from different backgrounds and planets, join Forest Fran, a young girl from Plant Planet, on her journey to school on City Planet. She navigates new situations and worries, but with help the idea of new people and a new environment becomes less scary. Fran experiences signs of anxiety and learns coping skills from those around her. Through these lessons the children learn to enjoy sharing their differences with each other.

Best suited for ages 6 -12 years old.

Topic: Safety, Rules, and Boundaries

Join these baby turtles on their journey to the sea! On the way they experience some distractions and have to learn what is safe and unsafe in their environment, and how rules are in place to keep them safe. They have to overcome the “want to do” fun things in order to do what they “have to do” to get to the sea safely.

 

Best suited for children ages 2 – 6 years old.

Hilary The Space Alligator

Topic: Novelty

Hilary is feeling lonely and lost, but a turn of events sends her right where she needs to be to feel safe and accepted.
 
Best suited for ages 2 – 7 years old.

The Remote Monster

Topic: Accountability

The Remote Monster has big plans to steal all the remotes across the country and cause chaos. However, along the way he learns that stealing remotes from others will lead to big consequences, such as apologizing, returning items, and time alone to reflect on his actions.
 
Best suited for ages 5 – 12 years old
